
A major shakeup of Ontario’s alcohol marketplace starts today with convenience stores now selling booze.
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario says it has granted 42-hundred licences to stores across the province.
They will be allowed to sell alcohol from 7 a-m to 11 p-m.
We stopped by Target in Simcoe, where they had beer stocked in their coolers ready to go for 7 a.m.
They are not alone in Norfolk, as several convenience stores have opted in to selling alcoholic beverages.

Twenty per cent of the beer, cider and premixed cocktails on the shelves and 10 per cent of the wine must be from small Ontario producers.
