Norfolk County councillors, and the Corporation of the County of Norfolk, are set to go to court today after being served papers at a council meeting last month.
Warren Cummings will be representing himself and other residents as he asks the Ontario Superior Court of Justice to look into the conduct of council and take appropriate action – saying this could be up to and including removal of office.
In previous email correspondence with the station, Cummings did note that Kim Huffman and Doug Brunton were not named in the application and that he will also be asking the courts to order the list of the campaign donors for each councilor.
The virtual hearing is slated to begin at 10 a.m.
