Norfolk General Hospital (NGH) is embarking on a mission to become a Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO) and is inviting the community to join in. A special launch party for this initiative is set for September 14th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at NGH. The event is open to everyone and offers an opportunity to learn about becoming a Best Practice Champion.
Best Practice Champions play a key role in bringing evidence-based practices to NGH, ensuring high standards of patient care. Champions receive free, flexible online training, earning a certificate and a special pin. They then join a working group to implement best practices and share their knowledge with others.
The launch party will also celebrate the community’s agricultural heritage, featuring local vendors, free swag, and raffle prizes.
If you’re interested in being a vendor at the event, please contact Jennifer Edwards, Director of Quality, at jedwards@ngh.on.ca by September
4th. NGH will notify successful applicants by September 6th.
