Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice is launching a new program called “Healing Steps,” a bereavement walking group designed to support those who have lost a loved one. Starting on September 17th, the weekly outdoor sessions will take place in Waterford, offering participants a chance to engage in gentle exercise, enjoy fresh air, and find comfort through informal conversation. Led by the Hospice Bereavement Care Provider and dedicated volunteers, this 60-minute walk aims to help individuals feel less alone in their grief.
The program runs until November 5th, and is free of charge, but pre-registration is required. Those interested can register or obtain more information by calling 519-410-0881 or visiting the Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice website at www.norfolkhaldimandhospice.ca. This supportive group encourages reflection and healing in a compassionate community setting.
