A great atmosphere, amazing music, and that jazz.
South Coast Jazz is returning, starting this Friday, for its 11th year.
Founder Juliann Kuchocki thinks that over the past decade and a bit, it has really put a spotlight on Norfolk.
This year, the festival is going full tilt with the art scene, with a show on Friday at Glenhyrst Gardens & Gallery in Brantford and Lynnwood Arts Centre in Simcoe.
South Coast Jazz is not afraid to change up its venues and felt the choice this year just fit.
There are great jazz acts on tap.
At the Friday show, the Branson Palanio Organ Trio will hit the stage, as well as Johannes Linstead.
On Sunday, James Wilson, Shannon Butcher with Michael Shand, and Avery Raquel will take the spotlight.
While she loves them all, Raquel holds a special place in Kuchocki’s heart.
If you are interested in going to either show, don’t hesitate.
She also wanted to highlight the many people who helped make South Coast Jazz such a success.
More information on the show can be found here.
