Robinson Administration Building
The Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit will relocate to the Robinson Administration Building at 185 Robinson Street in downtown Simcoe starting Monday, July 22. This move aims to improve residents’ access to various community health services. The new site is near the Norfolk Family Health Team, Norfolk County Community Paramedics, and Norfolk General Hospital, fostering collaboration and creating a healthcare hub.
Al Meneses, Chief Administrative Officer for Norfolk County had this to say to the community: “Thank you for your patience and support as we work on improving our office spaces, helping us serve you better and more efficiently. By moving key public health services to Simcoe’s downtown area near Norfolk General Hospital, we’re making it easier for everyone to access the care they need.”
Public Health services will be available on the second floor, with check-ins at the Reception Desk. Dental Health Clinics will remain at 12 Gilbertson Drive in Simcoe. The Community Paramedics team will also move to the Robinson Street hub, while emergency bases stay operational at their current locations.
The Provincial Offences Administration Office and courtrooms will continue operations on the first floor of the Robinson Administration Building.
