A person has been charged with multiple offenses as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking and stolen property. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand/Norfolk Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) executed a search warrant at a home, leading to the arrest.
At around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2nd, the Haldimand/Norfolk OPP CSCU conducted a search at a residence on Imperial Street in Delhi. During the search, they arrested one individual without any issues.
The search revealed and seized several illegal substances, including suspected Hydromorphone, amphetamine, cocaine, and ecstasy (MDMA). Authorities also confiscated Canadian and American money, drug paraphernalia, and a replica firearm.
A 29-year-old resident of Norfolk County, has been charged with the following alleged offenses:
- Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code (nine counts),

- Drive motor vehicle – improper licence (six counts),
- Use plate not authorized for vehicle (five counts),
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine,
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – other drugs,
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin),
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000 – in Canada.
Police anticipate additional charges as this investigation continues. Updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
