Last week, Haldimand County held a controversial vote that would see MPP Bobbi Ann Brady excluded from talks with ministers at a future AMO Meeting.
The councillors felt, with hostile feelings the Progressive Conservatives hold towards Haldimand-Norfolk’s Independent, that it would likely be seen as a hinderance to have her there.
Brady has now responded to this meeting and this decision, and questions the timing.
She also took issue with the way it was shoehorned into another issue.
Asked why they would do this, she believes councillors have received bad advice.
There were more pointed comments made, but Brady is holding back on commenting on those remarks – at least for now.
In a press release sent last week, Brady said she does plan on addressing council at a meeting regarding these decisions.
