Premier Doug Ford moved a lot of people around yesterday in a massive cabinet shuffle.
36 people now form the Ontario government’s cabinet, due in part to new associate minister positions having been created.
One of the biggest moves saw Stephen Lecce moved from education to energy, with former energy minister Todd Smith taking Lecce’s old job as education minister.
Prior to the swap, Lecce had served as Ontario’s education minister since 2019.
Smith had served as Ontario’s energy minister for the last three years prior to Thursday’s shuffle.
