The Oxford OPP say they are proud to be participating in the raising of Progress Flags throughout the county today (Friday).
The OPP is also committed to supporting the 2SLGBTQ+ communities.
With that, they are also reminding the public that theft of, or vandalism to these flags are criminal acts and if someone engages in any criminal act towards an identifiable group may face criminal and hate-motivated crime charges.
Notably in the past, there had been several instances in Norwich that saw Pride Flags being stolen or vandalized during Pride Month.
