It’s May, and that means the Port Dover Lions have officially kicked off their month long food drive.
Their goal this month is to raise $40K.
All food collected and money raised will go toward the Port Dover Lifeline Food Bank.
Below is a list of ways to donate, and upcoming events, that the Port Dover Lions have provided:
There are numerous ways the Community can donate,
Cash or cheque donations can be made at the Port Dover Scotiabank, Lions Silver Lake Market Saturday’s. Online at, www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/port-dover-and-area-life-line-food-bank
Tax receipts will be available.
The Lions will also have their Firetruck at BB Fuels parking lot every Saturday and Roulston’s on Sundays in May taking non-perishable food and money donations.
A bottle drive will take place Saturday May 4th 10:00am-4:00pm at the BB Fuels parking lot.
The Lions will also kick off their Show & Shine Car show season with a gate collection on Monday May 20nd and 27th
Special non-perishable food donation boxes will be available at the following locations. Lions Silver Lake Market, No Frills,
Cash donations can be made at, LCBO, Urban Parisian, Dover Dairy Bar, Stoney’s Home Hardware, Lions Silver Lake Market and Lakeside Savings.
