It’s something that used to just be played in backyards and at campgrounds as a fun pastime.
But cornhole is really taking off!
Having played around the area, Jeremy Helmer is organizing a new cornhole club in Simcoe, which starts in early May.
For Helmer, he said he’s loved playing it in surrounding communities but wanted to see something a little closer to home.
The hope is anyone and everyone will come out and see what this ever growing popular game is all about.
Helmer says he felt there was a void for this area and wanted to get more people involved in this fun sport, which anyone can play.
The new club starts May 3rd at the Rec Centre.
