OPP say even if it ends up being cloudy the afternoon of Monday April 8th, using your headlights while driving during the eclipse period is what you should be doing.
That’s Acting Sergeant Brianna Roberge, who says there are four safety aspects to bear in mind: for your vehicle, its headlights; for yourself, keep your eyes on the road; for proper safety- don’t pull off to the side; for others: watch out for pedestrians.
We should all make the eclipse a time for common sense, and cooperation.
