Starting this week, Ontario residents will begin receiving their 2024 War Amps key tags by mail.
The War Amps key tag program began in 1946 as a way to give employment to war amputee veterans.
We spoke with Bob Maguire, Public Awareness Specialist with War Amps, to learn more about this program.
This is a free program, but donations are welcome. Maguire told us how these funds raised are used.
The War Amps receives no government grants so rely heavily on the public’s support.
If you don’t receive your key tags in the mail, you can order them at waramps.ca or call toll-free 1 800-250-3030.
