Norfolk County Economic Development is hosting a special event for International Women’s Day.
We spoke with Susan Gardner, the Senior Economic Development Officer, about what to expect at the event.
In addition to Helen Cole’s talk, local voices will also be heard at the event.
Gardner expressed excitement about the event among everyone working behind the scenes.
She emphasized the importance of taking this day to have a conversation.
It’s also crucial to contribute to building up the community.
The event will be held on March 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Port Dover.
Tickets are currently sold out but there is a waitlist here.
Freewill donations may be made onsite to benefit Haldimand-Norfolk Women’s Services.
