Norfolk County the OPP wants you! To enroll in The Citizen’s Police Academy which is set to return in March. We spoke with Constable Andrew Gamble about the program and what if offers.
Chosen participants will be able to take part in sessions conducted by diverse and specialized units within the OPP.
The Academy has been running for more than 10 years, and Constable Gamble is anticipating a good turn out.
Upon successfully completing the program, participants will be celebrated with a graduation ceremony.
The program is set to take place every Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm inside the Junior Farmers Building.
Applications can be obtained in person at the front desk of the Norfolk County OPP Detachment. Applicants are required to be 16 years of age or older. The deadline to apply is Friday, February 23rd.
