Whether you have a green thumb or are just thinking about gardening, this Saturday the Norfolk County Library in Simcoe is hosting the perfect event for you: Seedy Saturday!
That was Sarah Judd, who is organizing this event.
This is the second year running this seed trading gathering after success in the first year.
This year there will be coffee and several booths set up for people with questions, with plans in future years to expand it further to possibly include speakers and other fun items.
The core of this Saturday, though, is just for locals to get together, and if they have local seeds, all the better!
Judd emphasized that this is an event for everyone and you do not need to have been gardening for years and show up with a ton of seeds.
If you are just starting out, just stop by.
It runs from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. in the basement of the Simcoe Branch of the Norfolk County Public Library.
