Norfolk County will being accepting applications for their revamped Community Grants Program in February.
The grant program will be open to not-for-profit organizations undertaking projects and initiatives to help deliver on a key list of strategic priorities laid out by the county.
For 2024, the approved budget for the entire Community Grant Program is $34,000.
The improved application process has been revised to make it clearer, more transparent and linked to the County’s Strategic Priorities.
The Norfolk County Strategic Priorities for the current term of Council are as follows:
Empowering Norfolk
Building Norfolk
Connecting Norfolk
Serving Norfolk
Sustaining Norfolk
Funding through the program is not guaranteed and is subject to availability.
The selection committee will review all applications and, based on the eligibility and evaluation criteria outlined in the policy, make recommendations to Council.
Successful applicants will be notified via email in late April, with funds being deployed starting in May.
