A Kijiji scam coming out of Haldimand County.
The OPP say a resident listed their car for sale and got several interested individuals messaging them.
Then a lot of those individuals indicated that before they could purchase the vehicle, the seller was to go to a website provided by the potential buyer to purchase a “Vehicle Audit Report”, as they didn’t trust any others.
The OPP are warning all Haldimand County residents to be extremely vigilant when searching web sites that someone has provided, especially when it comes to providing personal information and credit card numbers.
