Have you ever thought about volunteering at the library?
The Norfolk County Public Library will be launching its new Volunteer Program this month for anyone 14 years old and over.
Virtual Library Coordinator Belinda Smith tells myFM news, their former program fizzled out in recent years.
Smith tells us what a volunteer does.
The opportunity is great for high school students needing volunteer hours.
Smith says everyone should feel free to volunteer, if they’re interested. Those 18+ require a police check.
If you’d like to find out more, an introductory workshop is set for Monday, January 22nd from 1-3pm at the Simcoe Branch.
