A brand of infant formula is being recalled countrywide over concerns it may be contaminated with a dangerous bacteria.
A Health Canada advisory says Enfamil is recalling its Nutramigen A+ L-G-G Hypoallergenic formula over fears it may be tainted with Cronobacter sakazakii.
The bacteria can cause serious or fatal infections to the bloodstream, central nervous system and intestines.
There have been no reported illnesses, but batches of the formula with an expiry date of January 1st, 2025, involving the 561-gram containers should not be consumed or sold.
