
The Norfolk OPP is urging residents to take that heavy foot off the gas pedal as four individuals were charged with stunt driving over the course of course of 6 days.
On Wednesday, a vehicle was clocked going over 140 km/h down Blueline Road in Woodhouse in a posted 80 km/h.
On Sunday, another car was caught going nearly double the speed limit – going 110 km/h down Norfolk Street North in Simcoe – a posted 60 km/h zone.
On Monday, two separate drivers were charged – one for going 110 km/h down Highway 24, with a speed limit of 60 km/h, and another for going 130 km/h down Norfolk County Road 19 West in Windham, with a speed limit of 80 km/h.

Blueline Road speeding incident.
A 26-year-old male from Scarborough was charged with the following offence:
- Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – excessive speed.
Norfolk Street North speeding incident.
A 20-year-old male from Norfolk County was charged with the following offences:
- Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – excessive speed,
- Speeding 50+ km/h over posted speed limit,
- Use plate not authorized for vehicle,
- Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit.
Highway 24 speeding incident.
A 38-year-old male from Norfolk County was charged with the following offences:
- Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – excessive speed,
- Speeding 50+ km/h over posted speed limit.
Norfolk County Road 19 West speeding incident.
A 43-year-old male from Oxford County was charged with the following offence:
- Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – excessive speed.
