The man arrested during a tense stand off with police this week in Ohsweken is now facing Attempted Murder charges.
Police have released a list of charges and the name of the individual who was holed up in a house earlier this week and was reported to be firing a gun at police during this time.
40-year-old Matthew Dane Porter of Ohsweken is now facing several serious charges.
No update has been provided on his condition, as it was noted in a previous release that a gunfire exchange took place during his arrest and he was struck several times.
With that, he is scheduled to appear in Brantford court today.
