The active weapons investigation in Ohsweken has been resolved.
Six Nations Police called in members of the OPP last last night after an officer came under weapons-fire on Chiefswood Road.
The stretch of road between Fifth Line and Sixth Line was closed off during this time, and residents were put into a hold and secure.
A barricaded individual continued to discharge a firearm at police officers overnight, but the individual was arrested later this morning.
That individual had to be transported to the hospital following the arrest, and now the Special Investigations Unit has invoked its mandate
