Mark your calendars for a fun-filled evening this Saturday.
The place to be is the Delhi Tobacco Museum & Heritage Centre, for an outdoor event at the Quance Park pavilion, right next to the illuminated Quance dam.
The main act for the night is the Sandplains Pickers. They’ve got some special guests joining them too – The Crooked Stovepipe Folk Orchestra.
The Sandplains Pickers features local bluegrass favorites, The Schotts, along with the singer-songwriter extraordinaire, Ian Bell. But that’s not all – they also have North American fiddle champion Shane Cook on board.
For this show, they’ll be highlighting songs about Norfolk County and the wonderful time of year we’re in.
The show goes this Saturday, September 9, starting at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is by donation. Remember to bring a lawn chair.
