You can explore the wide array of art Norfolk County has to offer next month.
The Norfolk Studio Tour is set to take place, running September 23 and 24.
Kim Shippey, executive director at Lynnwood, described some of the art you will see on the tour.
Lynnwood Arts officially took over the Norfolk Studio Tour last October, with planning for this year’s event starting around December.
There isn’t a set route for the tour, but Shippey recommends starting at Lynnwood Arts.
But she said while you can see all of the artists displayed at Lynnwood Arts, touring their studios is key to getting the most out of the tour.
There are over 30 stops marked on the map which you can find online or in the pamphlet available at Lynnwood.
This year will also feature high tea presented by Joy Bakery at hosted at Lynnwood Arts.
You can call Joy Bakery to reserve your spot.
The studio tour is free, but Shippey would encourage you to support the artists if you are able.
Shippey thanked all of the sponsors that helped the tour become a reality.
