Over a two day period last weekend OPP in Norfolk County charged four people with impaired driving related offences.
The first case was a collision involving a van and a parked car on Main Street South. There were some minor injuries. The van driver was charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle and driving while impaired.
In a second case a vehicle crashed at a location on Brantford Road. No injuries.
The driver had left the area before police arrived. Once located they were arrested. Charges against the accused include failing to stay at the scene of a collision.
During an OPP Ride Check Stop late Saturday night police arrested the driver of a vehicle stopped on St. John’s Road East. The driver failed a roadside sobriety test and was charged.
Late Sunday night OPP stopped a vehicle on Talbot Street. The driver was arrested and charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle and driving while impaired.
