
Three individuals have been charged following a violent robbery.
Just after 10 a.m. on July 8, police responded to a Norfolk Street South address where the victim and three suspects became involved in a verbal dispute inside the victim’s home.
The dispute turned physical, resulting in the victim being assaulted, and personal property being damaged and stolen before the three individuals fled.
Two days later two of the three suspects were caught.
Richard Grant was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, four counts of failure to comply with a probation order, mischief under $5,000, robbery with violence, forcible confinement, assault, resist a peace officer, and possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.
Sasha Sullivan was charged with assault, forcible confinement, and robbery with violence.
The next day, 38-year-old Jay Hoover was taken into custody and charged with forcible confinement, robbery with violence, and failure to comply with a probation order.
