Abel Enterprises has finally smashed the lid off of the top secret fundraiser they have been planning.
They made an announcement last week about a smashtastic addition to some of favourite local events this year.

That was FUNdraising coordinator, Robynn Beazley.
She explained where the idea came from.
A car smash sees a car in a fenced in area where people can pay to choose a tool to go swing at it a number of times. A rage room is a similar concept, where you go in a room with a number of breakable items and pay to swing and break the items.
Abel works to better the lives of community members who live with mental illness and addiction. They offer employment supports and job training, therapeutic woodworking shop, vocational rehabilitation program, and social outings and activities for their members.
If you’re looking for other ways to support Abel, they host Monday Night Bingos twice a month at the Simcoe Legion, and will be serving up Concession Stand goodies at the upcoming Invasion of the Dragon Dragon Boat Races in July.
