The Amplify Norfolk Concerts are mere days away.
We spoke with JR DiGS – who will be hosting both the Friday Night Show featuring The Beaches and Dizzy, as well as the Saturday night show with Finger Eleven, Bif Naked, and Sloan.
DiGS was a popular TV personality, and got to know many bands throughout the years.
He said he is happy to have those connections to the music industry, and his connections to Norfolk, combine into something special.
DiGS is excited about both shows, and the willingness to go out of everyone comfort zones when securing this big acts.
DiGS first saw the Beaches when he was hosting a charitable event when they were first starting out, and the raw talent was there from the get go and just exploded over time.
Continuing, DiGS – how owns a cottage and Long Point and splits his time between Norfolk and Hamilton – is happy to see Norfolk opening up and showing the rest of the world what they have to offer.
While he is hosting the big bands for the night, DiGS said he plans on enjoying everything happening around the fairgrounds as well.
