Norfolk County is kicking off Pride Month.
Mayor Amy Martin along with members of council are raising a Pride Flag at the County Administration Building in Simcoe this morning at 9.
The newest version of the flag will fly throughout June in support of the LGBTQ+ members of the community.
Martin said it is important to fly this flag so “the LGBTQ+ community to know we stand alongside them and that they are valued members of Norfolk County.”
Members of the community are invited to attend the flag raising to celebrate and take photos.
