An update on the 24-hour Youth Film Festival that took place last week.
This saw mostly teens working hard over 24 hours to make a movie with 11 participants taking part in it’s inaugural year.
- First Place Award went to “Without You” a ZAI Production

- Filmmakers: Alex Sullivan, Zoë Veldhuis, Isabel Saudade from Holy Trinity Catholic High School in Simcoe
- Second Place Award went to “Found and Lost” a Salt and Pepper Production

- Filmmakers: Sarah Guray and Emma Smout from Simcoe Composite School in Simcoe
- Best Creative Concept went to our youngest participants (7 years old!): “Gary’s Story” a Twins Production

- Filmmakers: Malcolm and Olive Duguay Bachiu from J. L. Mitchener Public School
- The Audience Choice Award was a tie between “Without You” and “Gary’s Story”
First Place went to a film called “Without You” done by three Holy Trinity students.
