The annual CAA Worst Roads advocacy campaign is marking its 20th year.
For the past two decades, the campaign has given decision-makers a snapshot of the roads that the public perceives as not meeting their expectations.
Assistant Vice President of Government and Community Relations, Teresa Di Felice, says bad roads are really hurting peoples pocket books.
She says an organized voting strategy has really helped this campaign get the attention of those in power.
While poorly maintained roads is the focus, a new trend has started.
Di Felice adds their research shows that 85 per cent of Ontarians are concerned about the state of roads.
