The Simcoe Fire Fighters Association, with the help of the community, made a sizable donation to the Who Did It Club.
With the money raised through the scrap metal bins, the group donated enough to buy 10 wheelchairs and three patient transporter chairs.
These health-related pieces of equipment are rented out to community members by the club free of charge.
The community is encouraged to support the Norfolk County Fire Service scrap metal bins by taking scrap metal to the bins located at the corner of Davis Street and Gilbertson Drive in Simcoe.
