A bridge in Silver Lake Park was dedicated to a late Lions member.
Stan Morris was a Port Dover Lion for over 50 years, serving as the president in 1997-98, receiving a Life Membership, the Lions’ Helen Keller Award, and the Lions’ Melvin Jones Award.
Members of the Morris family and Port Dover Lions met at the bridge this weekend to honour Stan, who passed in 2021.
Among the projects he spearheaded are Silver Lake tree planting, the memorial fountain, and Leo Youth Clubs.
