It’s been quite a while, but a fun way to meet new people in our community is coming back to the Delhi Legion.
That was Brenda Lee Smiley, the 2nd Vice Chair, talking about how the Legion is excited to host a fun night out once again in Delhi.
Smiley says it’s been some time since people in the county, single or not, have had a “club” like setting to enjoy a few drinks and get to know other people.
Smiley added that it’s targeted for singles, but really it could be a fun night out for anyone.
It’s $12 to get in, but that money goes a long way to helping the Legion.
The first dance goes on Saturday, August 27th from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m.
With September being an exception, there is already an event planned that month on the date, there will be dances every month on the last Saturday.
Smiley says you can expect a dance floor, a bar, snacks, and a great environment to mingle.
