
Indwell welcomed the community into Dogwood Suites for the first time on Thursday.
The open house for the new affordable housing in Simcoe began with opening statements in the rear parking lot.
Leah Logan, regional manager, spoke of the journey they went through to get to this point and the hurdles they had to overcome.
She explained why they are so passionate about the work that they do.
Also on site to speak was Norfolk County Mayor Kristal Chopp, who touched on the partnerships created through this project.
The 51 bachelor and one-bedroom apartments have helped towards the homelessness issue in the area.
That was Haldimand-Norfolk MPP Bobbi Ann Brady.
Indoor tours were available to the community during the event.
