8 o’clock Saturday morning is the start time for this weekend’s children’s fishing derby at Backus Heritage Conservation Area, Port Rowan.
For four hours until noon, children age 16 and younger can embrace or acquire a love of fishing.
Everything takes place from shore on Backus Mill pond. The fishing derby registration fee is $4 dollars
on-top-off the admission fee to entre the conservation area.
Registration is on-site the day of the derby.
