It has been a tremendous success.
The Port Dover Seniors Centre opened up this past March, welcoming people from across Norfolk County to the new lakeside facility.
Originally scheduled to open in 2020, but pushed back due to COVID-19, everything is now in full swing with the centre
Project manager Adam Veri provided us with an update.
Veri said that is an important aspect, to offer unique and diverse services while also recognizing what programs are doing well and should be ongoing.
One thing Veri did want to make clear is that, despite it being located in Port Dover, it doesn’t mean it’s Port Dover exclusive.
Seniors from far and wide can come down, enjoy their programs, and stick around to enjoy Norfolk’s beach town.
More information on the Port Dover Seniors Centre, including some of the programs they are running and how to become a member, can be found here.
