Waterford residents are concerned about a proposed subdivision coming to the area.
Council heard a presentation regarding the proposal on Old Highway 24 at the Public Hearing Committee meeting on Tuesday.
That was Eldon Darbyson, representing the applicant.
The application is to change the zoning of the land from commercial to residential.
A collection of nearby residents joined the meeting to voice their concerns.
The application and all concerns were received as information.
Other concerns that came up from staff and council included the water flow available in case of a fire emergency in the area, and the amount of retail land in the growing residential town of Waterford.
