Norfolk County will be represented at Miss Teenage Canada.
Sarah Dolina, of Turkey Point, attended Miss Teenage Ontario earlier this month and finished as a finalist.
Dolina said scoring was done in two parts, with an interview and fitness test taking place the day before, and the evening gown event was done day of.
While she said she was nervous during the interview, she opened up by the evening gown event.
The 17-year-old enjoyed her time at the pageant.
The Simcoe Composite School student is keeping busy between now and Nationals, which are set to be held this summer.
The Grade 11 student entered the pageant on the platform of body positivity, and is hopeful she inspired other girls that are not seen as the typical pageant body type to try something new.
