Accessing Insulin can be tough in the best of times.
That made Waterford native Jamie Robb worry about the people in Ukraine living through an invasion while trying to get the supplies needed to regulate diabetes daily.
Robb is planning a trip to Poland at the end of the month to take as much Insulin, testing strips, and other supplies as possible.
The Type 1 Diabetic said he couldn’t sit by and watch without doing anything.
The Ingersoll man is asking the community to either donate to his GoFundMe, or go out and buy supplies to be taken.
He explains what to look for when buying the supplies.
You can also grab a box of 100 FreeStyle test strips, which comes with a free meter. Also needed are lancets, which can only be used a few times before being thrown out.
Anyone that has purchased supplies and would like to get them to Robb can contact him at 519-718-1897 to schedule a drop off or pick up. Robb asks that you keep your receipts to show when crossing the border.
