
After several warm and wet days, the damage done over the winter to our local roads are becoming more clear.
We’ve collected some helpful information when it comes to our local roadways.
If you notice your road is not looking great, and you have concerns, here is what you need to know:
All inquiries, complaints and requests should be directed to ServiceNorfolk agents.
The agent will then generate a work order for the appropriate department or division.
Items such as a potholes will be sent to the roads department for routine maintenance, whereas cracks in pavement may be sent to the engineering department, where they can be added to our crack sealing program.
Filling potholes happens year-round, but spring is the busiest time of year.
Last year alone, Norfolk used approximately 414 tons of cold patch material on area potholes.
Residents can report potholes on area roads to ServiceNorfolk Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at 519-426-5870 ext. 0 or email askus@norfolkcounty.ca.
