
The 2021 Statistics Canada Census results are in.
According to the results, the population of Norfolk County since the last census in 2016 has increased by 3,446 people, or 5.4 per cent.
There are now 67,490 residents in Norfolk.
Other information provided by the census includes that there are 30,085 private dwellings in the county, with 27,594 of those being occupied by usual residents.
Haldimand County saw a larger increase of 3,608 new residents in the last five years, which is a jump of 7.9 per cent.
They now sit at 49,216 residents.
Haldimand County has 20,710 private dwellings, of which 18,719 are occupied by usual residents.
