Norfolk County Council will be hearing a deputation regarding homelessness in Downtown Simcoe today (Tuesday).
The deputation will be made by Brian Jones, a representative for The Downtown Simcoe Homeless Solutions Round Table.
Last month the group began working with local businesses to provide warming shelters for those experiencing homelessness in the core.
The presentation will end with a request for support.
