The United Way of Haldimand Norfolk has a new executive director.
George Araujo has spent the past 18 years with the Norfolk County Agricultural Society, seven years as their general manager.
The long-time Port Dover resident has championed the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show, leading the team through multiple fairs and events while continually building a positive profile for the organization.
Araujo says he is thrilled with the appointment and to work with “our agency partners and our committed donors to find solutions and drive change.”
Haley McIntosh, president of the United Way Board of Directors advises Araujo brings leadership, energy, and wealth of experience to the organization, which last year helped over 19,500 individuals build better lives.
