Our local Toyotetsu spend the past couple of weeks supplying some holiday cheer.
TTCA kicked off the holiday season with their annual Spirit Drive Campaign, filling not only the company van, but also a second company vehicle full of non-perishable items.
Next up was the Annual Holiday Fundraising Campaign, which is a company match initiative.
More than $11,000 in donations was brought in which was shared with the Simcoe Caring Cupboard, The Salvation Army, The Woodland Cultural Center “Save the Evidence”, and The United Way.
They changed their Turkeys & Hams donation and instead handed out $4,000, donated through team members, to the Simcoe Caring Cupboard and Church Out Serving.
Finally, the last event was the 12 Days of Giveaways, with a twist this year of giving back and supporting only local businesses.
Team Members entered by purchasing tickets with all proceeds being donated to the Simcoe Caring Cupboard and Church Out Serving.
This event raised over $5,000 and supported local business owners
In total, Team TTCA raised $25,843 for charities this holiday season.
