Some great news in Port Dover.
During the month of October, the Port Dover Lions teamed up with Port Dover Legion to sell Lawn Poppies.
In just 15 days, 1500 Lawn Poppies were sold.
The Lions presented Legion Poppy Chair John Smith with a cheque for $7,000 to kick off their poppy campaign with proceeds from the Lawn Poppy sale.
That money will go towards the purchase of equipment at Parkview Veterans Wing Hospital.
