A 40-year-old Simcoe man has been charged in relation to the death of a 17-year-old girl.
Police were called to Norfolk General Hospital on August 27 after Rachel Cook of Simcoe was brought in by Paramedic Services. She was later transferred to Hamilton where she was pronounced deceased.
In relation to the death, Derek Adams has been charged with trafficking in a Schedule 1 substance, and breach of probation.
The investigation continues with members of the Norfolk OPP Crime Unit and the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
