A federal election is happening.
On September 20th we’ll find out who will fill the vacant seat in Haldimand-Norfolk.
Weeks ago, long-time MP Diane Finley announced her retirement, leaving the seat empty for the time being.
Three names are known at this time that have their hat in the race.
Leslyn Lewis will be running for the Conservative Party, Karen Matthews will be the face of the Liberals locally, and Ken Gilpin is listed in our riding for the People’s Party Of Canada.
We do not have any further information on Gilpin but will be reaching out.
At this time, no candidates are listed for the Green Party or New Democrats.
As new candidates come forward, voting information is revealed, and debates are announced, we will provide you with those updates.
